George Triggs

Figurative Sculptor
Border Studio, Oak Street, Oswestry

Summary

Renowned figurative sculptor working predominately in bronze but also resins, interactive projection, glass, wax and plaster. A mastery of materials and technical knowledge are expertly used to convey the complexity of figurative work. Consistently pushing the boundaries of the materials used and confronting the traditional figurative format, the human condition is explored. The contrast the artworks exhibit - through visual magnetism, combined with physical extremes - heighten the emotion and the perception of the concepts they portray. A diverse and varied body of work which showcases personal evolution in artistic journey.
