George Thompson

Currently doing my GCSEs in Year 11. I have taken part in a few extracurricular activities across the years such as the football team and the cricket team. Being at this school for these years has helped me develop my confidence as an individual, allowing me to talk to others more openly and easily.

Volunteered as a coach for my friend's dad's football team as part of my bronze Duke of Edinburgh volunteering, coaching kids aged 8-9 once a week. Me and two of my friends worked together to conduct fun and engaging training drills for the kids playing for the team, as well as helping enhance their game by aiding them with advice such as where to be positioned during a game or deciding with them where they may want to play on the pitch.
