I began this role with no prior experience working on dinghies or windsurf boards; however, I brought with me a strong background in gelcoat and GRP repairs from yacht maintenance. I quickly applied my problem-solving skills and initiative to learn and master repairs of all sizes across the equipment. My rapid development led to being recognised as one of the top Bosuns at Neilson, where I was moved between resorts to support teams and continue developing my technical expertise. This exposure to a variety of challenges further strengthened my knowledge and skills in GRP repair and maintenance.
I continued to expand my industry knowledge by working on a range of projects, including winter maintenance programmes for multiple yachts and a full refit. This experience strengthened my time management and organizational skills, enabling me to complete work efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

Drove new sales opportunities through short and long-term planning, while maintaining strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. During my time with LSM, a marine contractor specialising in pleasure yachts, I gained a wide range of experience in all aspects of yacht maintenance — including polishing, gelcoat colour matching and repairs, GRP work above and below the waterline, and full refits. I consistently demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities and a practical, hands-on approach to learning.
