I joined epx ( formally EP&T Global ) in January 2023 as the sole UK Service representative of a global company to maintain and keep uptime of equipment and devices, and manage expectations and relations of clients across the UK and Europe. My day to day tasked and responsibilities consist of -

I worked for NG Bailey who have the building maintenance contract at the LinkLaters building in London, directly next to the Barbican. I have gained good knowledge of all building maintenance. Daily tasks require the following -

  • BMS checks and plant tour to make sure all plant is working correctly to notify and rectify any issues found.
  • Reactive works to any problems that arise during the day/night shift
  • Daily, weekly and monthly PPM's to keep on top of different plant and make sure they're kept in a clean and functioning condition.
  • Documentation of completed works and upkeep of auditing paperwork

  • Drafted clear and concise reports after each repair or installation task.

  • Since February 2018 I have worked for multiple companies through agencies and by subbing direct doing various different types of installs. Predominantly the below -

  • I worked predominantly in BMS installs, completing work in tank rooms and sub stations that include all kinds of metal containment and different power and control cabling. I worked on the shell building project for canary wharf for 3 months, and also have worked on the Royal Wharf site in west silvertown, installing bms systems in multiple blocks of flats. I had been given great responsibility by being given plot drawings and panel drawings and being set off to start the containment routes and cable routes on my own and for other people to start work on.

  • Kemada was the company that I started and finished my apprenticeship with, and then worked for, for a short period of time after qualifying. I started working on Rail sites like Paddington station, ripping out and reinstalling lighting for the whole station concourse and platforms. I also worked on large UK Power Reserve sites installing new generators that linked back to the local grid. This consisted of big ladder rack and tray installs, with large supplies run in to the primary transformer coming from the grid and then to each step down transformer. Also there were toilets and office cabins that we wired power and lighting to also.
