I was lucky enough to be offered the opportunity to gain work experience at one of the uk's most prestigious guitar shops-Sixty Sixty Sounds on Denmark Street In London.

Tasks included one to one customer service and specialist advice on product, general store admin, buying in and taking delivery of equipment and cleaning up at the end of the day.

I was responsible for processing all online orders for the uks biggest online hot water cylinder retailer. Tasks included: accurate recording of sometimes complicated orders, including bespoke items; liaising with customers and manufacturers to confirm specific requirements for hot water cylinders; liaising with customers and carriers. This experience helped me to be more results oriented, quick-thinking and very customer focused.

One week work experience while at school, during which I developed valuable customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. I received excellent feedback from the team manager at the end of my week.
