I am a reliable and hard worker, I have worked since the age of 13 where I started in a restaurant as waiter as help and went on to be the head waiter by the age of 15. Even from a young age this job gave me great communication and customer service skills and a new insight to the working world. I then joined my uncle in construction work as a labourer at the age of 16 for 2 years, which was very hard work but I enjoyed every minute of it. It was during this time I decided get an apprenticeship as an electrician.
Doing these roles taught me may skills such as punctuality, taking responsibility and completing all my work to a high standard. Since starting my apprenticeship I have gained a great deal of knowledge within the industry, working for two companies has given me a variety of learning opportunities where i have learnt many of my skills on the job off other qualified electricians with a vast variation of tasks such as changing sockets, installing lights, fire alarms, doing re-wires and much more. Within my roles I have worked as a part of a team and independently managing my own workload in a timely manor to a high standard whilst maintaining a clean safe space for my self and the customers by adhering to health and safety regulations. I am a calm collected individual which allows me to stay focused and open minded under pressure allowing me to problem solve and look at the bigger picture. I have also had new apprentices work along side me in which i've enjoys teaching and guiding them to better their knowledge and skills as electricians. I am a kind and caring person, always willing to listen and help others which I see as a great quality of mine. I believe i could be an asset to any team or company.
