I started here in August 2008 as a health and safety inspector going around salons where we had learners placed ensuring the salons were safe for learners to work in, and that the environment in which they were working in was acceptable. I then progressed to do my Level 3 Assessors qualification and my PTTLS and CTTLS qualification, of which I gained a Level 4 in. Later I decided to also do my Certificate of Education at Huddersfield University. I then went on to teach Level 2 learners (16–18-year-olds) Hairdressing skills, and 14–16-year-olds Principle learning in the Hair and Beauty sector at level 1.
