I'll start with a truth. After a lifetime of rejecting, denying, suppressing emotion, unhealed trauma, physical trauma and abuse, numbing with drink and drugs (dressed up as partying), no awareness of mental health, delusional thinking, my body finally shut down and has steadily been in a state of collapse over the last 5 years.
In this time I have become more devoted to the path of yoga especially Kundalini yoga which has become my morning sadhana. I am living, breathing, fully embodying these practices and I am experiencing the quiet transformation they bring on many levels. Expanding consciousness, aligning more with my truth, a feeling of wholeness, connectedness, having the capacity to hold all aspects of myself, rewiring thinking patterns, behaviours, sovereignty and self-love.
I have been a dedicated yoga practitioner for over 17 years enjoying extensive exploration of diverse yoga practices and texts. I became qualified to teach in 2015. A compassionate teacher proficient in guiding students through sequences and breathing techniques while fostering supportive and inclusive environment.
I am looking for an opportunity to teach again, bringing new learnings, insights from recent experiences. To get over my imposter syndrome, to be of service and pass on some of these impactful practices that might help others connect to their true nature.
Led 3 classes a week, both Yin and dynamic Vinyasa flow, preferring the expression that yields from a flowing practice.
