I worked this role for many years, and was my first proper experience in a workplace. But through my relationship and loyalty to the owners, I learnt and went on to manage the restaurant completely alone 3 days a week. During my time in this role, I was placed in all sections of front end, this includes: Self Service, Regular tills and the customer service desk. I was also a runner where I organized breaks, sorted customer issues and assisted with podding the cash towards the end of the day along with my manager.
This job was very busy but also helped my efficiency at work and also taught me lots of valuable retail skills like:
