I worked this role for many years, and was my first proper experience in a workplace. But through my relationship and loyalty to the owners, I learnt and went on to manage the restaurant completely alone 3 days a week. This trust in my skills meant that I could manage new hires for the busy weekend and seasonal periods. Skills that I learnt in this role include:
