  • Based out of the Wellingborough branch, my role is recruitment consultant for the temporary division.
  • For this role I am also on call 24/7 on the out of office mobile phone for clients and my temps, the role is very varied and from sourcing and registering candidates, to new business cold calling and meeting new clients to rates and proposals.
  • Recruitment is a very fast-paced environment, you could have a client phone and ask for 10 staff within the hour, this is perfect as I am very well organised, can cope with working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • The hardest part of my role is dealing with people, with no notice at all candidates will walk off site or not attend to start with, I have to be able to manage and maintain our relationships with our clients and still gain future business.
  • While our branch administrator is away, I also helped process payroll and our timesheets, from sending out the timesheets to the client, chasing the timesheets back in time, calculating hours and inputting onto the internal system to be sent over to head office.
