  • To carry out day to day administration, processes and procedures relating to the 2-, 3- & 4-year-old funding schemes and Early Years Pupil Premium
  • To carry out onboarding of new providers by creating their logins on Synergy, to liaise with finance department for Agresso setup making sure providers are paid promptly
  • Further to this, make sure paperwork is stored safely and securely after setup of new providers
  • To act as primary contact for thirty-six childcare providers, offering support, technical advice, and guidance in relation to completing and submitting their funding claims and childcare sufficiency data within required timescales
  • To be responsible for sense checking data on Synergy for accuracy, investigating any anomalies and discrepancies, importing the data form Synergy, and balancing funding claims
  • To ensure integrity and accuracy of data is always maintained and data is held, transferred and used in secure manner and in accordance with local, corporate and statutory guidelines
  • To support the Childcare Sufficiency & Early Years Funding Manager with the facilitation of payments to providers for their Early Years funding claims including the Early Years Pupil Premium
  • To provide technical support and guidance to parents, advising on their eligibility and making decisions based on evidence provided when automated eligibility checking system is not able to confirm eligibility
  • Undertake training courses offered by Council to further develop skills required for role
  • Furthering knowledge with DfE Statutory Guidance
  • Undertake any other duties commensurate with level of post, as required to ensure efficient and effective running of service
  • Further to role, I have taken up analysing the funding payments, by importing All-claims data from Synergy, tidying up data, making adjustments, and analysing negative amounts of claims making sure correct amount is paid to all providers.
