Leading the rapid development of InPosts network of fully automated parcel lockers in the UK. Responsible for delivering the UK Locations strategy, building a solution that delivers a convenient alternative to home delivery and parcel returns and that reduces the environmental impact of both.
I led a team of eight and professionalised InPosts bidding processes for large concessions winning UK wide networks such as Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsburys, Aldi, Lidl, all UK Train Operating Companies, BP and Shell forecourts, TfGM and a number of Local Authorities.
I also led InPosts lobbying of national and local government for reduction in planning requirements and business rates predicated on the environmental benefits of parcel lockers.
Following the acquisition of Exterion Media, I became the UK lead for the strategic development of Global's portfolio of transport advertising concessions, including senior partner account management, delivery of capital investment programmes, retention of existing concessions and winning new advertising concessions through open market tenders.
Responsible for all Exterion Media UK advertising partner concessions, delivering the UK Franchise strategy of investing in our advertising estates to grow revenues, retain existing partners on improved terms and winning new advertising concessions to grow our share of the UK Out of Home advertising market. Major achievements include:
1. Co-led the successful Transport for London advertising tender in March 2016 for a 8.5 year term - Worth c.£1.5bn in advertising revenue, the worlds largest concession, and including £90m capital investment in advertising assets.
2. Turning around unprofitable advertising concessions, notably our Bus concessions, on onerous commercial terms, returning these back to profit.
Responsible for Franchise contract management, tender responses, new business pitches and post bid performance management. Major achievements include winning the Westfield advertising concession for a seven year term worth c£4m in annual advertising revenues, supported by £1.2m investment in digital advertising assets.
Working with UK Franchise Director, responsible for developing the CBS advertising concessions across the Bus and Rail portfolios, including revenue optimisation through investment in the advertising assets, providing first line account management to our partners, bidding to retain existing and win new advertising concessions
