•Ensuring that the Principal Contractor is pro-active in discharging their duties under the CDM regulations, not least in managing all safety aspects of the construction-based activities

•Ensure the facilitation of regular site safety walks, holding coordination meetings with all contractors on site, ensuring that access/egress to the site is controlled and maintaining a site diary

•Review the suitability of Risk Assessments and Method Statements

•Provide input to, review and comment on the deliverability of the PC Site Delivery Programmes and proactively monitor all activities, promptly advising the Project manager of any programme risks

•Being familiar with industry construction standards and inspect, approve, or reject materials and workmanship

•Sensible monitoring of site construction activities and be familiar with all aspects of the contract documentation

National Grid- I have been involved in delivering a Super Grid Transformer to Trawsfynydd substation also worked onTest centre build for substation equipment at Deeside Substation also giving support at Ironbridge and Tarnock sites as cover. I am currently working on the Pentir/Dinorwig cable replacement scheme working on both the cable with Morgan Sindall and Siemens within the GIS substation inside Dinorwig Powerstation.
