Maintaining contact with our supplier base on a daily basis whilst working within a budget of around 130,000 euros to keep stock levels at an acceptable level ,receipt of incoming goods through SAP .

Working alongside our goods in staff to ensure FIFO is maintained & inventory/ stock management would be carried out on a weekly basis with checks based on higher volume / high value so SAP can be updated & used as an accurate tool.

With supplier lead times varying between 10 days & 16 weeks all orders placed must be strategic to the business model & represent a balance between DOH & spend. With the EU we now see the Logistics flow of goods become somewhat unbalanced which must be factored in now to ensure safety days of stock .

I have gained over 30 years of Logistics / Planning / Purchasing experience using a SAP driven MRP system using both firm / forecasting through a manual & also EDI models. Role would also include creation / maintaining Master data / schedule creation / Stock data analysis / Supplier performance / BOM updates / COGI management / C-Class management etc.

Over the past 2 years stock management & strategic panning is now more seen as a key tool to improve the business model through reduction of MOQ's / Leadtime & lower level DOH based on supplier performance. The automotive sector has seen an unprecedented market depreciation through various channels which makes it imperative to enhance internal performance to margins previously never seen .

Logistics co-ordination of 6 staff on a daily basis whilst maintaining a Production plan to ensure continuity of WIP / turnaround of S/F products to external 3rd parties.

RM imports / stock level reports & daily supply as a tier one supplier to NMUK / TMUK / VW / Ford & Vauxhall motors.

Co-ordination of returnable packaging from all customers / transport booking & inspection of final despatch of finished goods .
