• Being newly appointed I lead the organisation through the complexities of the covid -19 pandemic.
• This meant and implementing policies and objectives to create a service that falls in line with the constraints of public policy at the time.
• Through out that challenging time I spearheaded expansion strategies to increase the flexibility of our service delivery.
• Overseeing team projects, demonstrating an ability to work collaboratively and effectively to achieve holistic outcomes.
• Oversaw budgetary and financial activities and implemented strategies to grow business and profits.
• Ensuring that robust strategies, mechanisms, resources and reporting arrangements are in place to uphold probity and propriety, to safeguard the financial strength of the Association, and to meet business and regulatory requirements; this includes ensuring that the Board understands and fulfils its governance role.

• Deputised for the Chief Executive Officer.

· To be the operational lead for children’s services and to be the lead for safe guarding (child protection) at Leeds Reach.

· Co ordinate four service programmes: Re-engagement (12-15 year old), Real (14-16 year olds ) School mentoring & school workshops.

· Work with other integrated multi-disciplinary teams, providing high performing support for young people and families, this support often manifests itself in the form a ‘broker’ between families and school in conflict situations.

· I have been involved with numerous CAFs and Child protection plans providing additional family support.

· Lead on assessments and planning for the young people attending the service. Thus creating high quality outcome and solution focused practice to support individual needs thus empowering young people.

· Work with colleagues in the implementation of the common assessment framework, information sharing protocols.

· Monitor the work and performance of team members, through supervisions with the senior practitioner and appraisals with individuals.

· Provide CPD options for staff.

· Manage the curriculum delivery team

· Manage education contract.

· Quality assess course evidence.

· Network with partner schools.

· Support on child protection plans.
