  • Responsible for 38 stores across the North West, 38 Store manager direct reports, over 600 colleagues and sales of c.£210m.
  • Successfully led large teams through significant operational and transformational change projects, alongside store openings and closures whilst maintaining business leading KPI performance and colleague engagement.
  • Key member of the senior leadership team, influencing and implementing tactical and strategic actions in a fast paced environment with changeable priorities.
  • Responsible for the delivery of KPI performance within Sales, CSAT, financial services, P&L, shrink, stock management, People metrics and Home delivery fulfilment metrics.
  • For two years, I also had responsibility for our Heywood regional fulfilment centre. Line management to the site general manager, 70 colleagues delivering customer orders to c.60 stores.

  • General manager of a high sales turnover town centre hub store. Leading a team of 4 management, 30 retail colleagues and 27 home delivery drivers. Serving 5 spoke stores and same day fast track delivery to our customers homes and businesses in the surrounding areas.

  • I was requested to lead the store during its transition from a traditional to digital concept store. The seventh digital store and first outside of London.
  • Within the first six months of launch, sales increased by 30% YOY. Delivered through very strong improvement in colleague engagement, effective commercial actions in stocking policy and relentless focus on developing a seamless customer journey and experience.
  • Actions I initiated were rolled out across the existing digital store estate and incorporated in operational plans for new openings.
  • I delivered digital readiness sessions with leadership teams as roll out of the concept progressed. Sharing my learnings, the importance of colleague engagement and culture alongside new ways of working to exceed customer expectations.
