
I am currently employed on a casual contract
Duties include: greeting all customers to the leisure centre. Booking and registering all attendees to fitness classes, checking all customers memberships, health and safety commitment (for gym users). Updating customer records. taking personal data from customers following GDPR rules.
Taking payment by credit card, both in-person and over the phone. Responsibility for daily cash-ups.
Dealing with all telephone calls into the centre, quickly and professionally.
At the Hope and Anchor, I handled card payments along with collecting orders and food queries. Taking food and drink orders from and to customers, setting up and clearing tables.
Good knowledge of computer programmes :
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint)
Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects)
Strong communication skills - confident in speaking with people in person and over the phone
Experience with processing credit card payments and cash
