  • Company Overview: This hotel is notorious for being one of the biggest wedding venues in the area having two wedding suites which were both used most weekends
  • Being second in command of this well known 4* Hotel and wedding venue.
  • MY daily duties were to report to the General Manager and host a morning meeting presenting facts and figures to all 7 departments of the hotel from the previous day, issue daily targets and discuss the weeks events/conferences that have been booked in on the previous day
  • A bigger weekly meeting would be held on Mondays to do a weekly review of the past weeks customer feedback, area’s we can improve on and discuss the weeks labour which in turn would affect the EBITDA for said week
  • It was my role to ensure that all functions ran smoothly with zero mistakes, ensure all departments were covered with sufficient staffing levels and that all products were available
  • Prior to each function I would liaise with the wedding and events coordinator and tend to sit in on the final meetings with the customer to ensure they received everything requested
