Summary

I have been a Support Worker working with adults with learning disabilities for over 5 years and I am a strong advocate for inspiring and supporting clients to be ambitious about their abilities and aspirations.

I have supported people to find roles in places such a local pub and charity shops and identified openings at local warehouses, community shops and cafes working with potential employers to ensure the placement is suitable for all parties.

I believe in encouraging independence and 'having a go' with support and positive risk management.

I firmly believe that everyone has something to offer and that being a part of a wider community in boosts self confidence and independence

I am friendly, hard working, flexible, enjoy problem solving and always open to learning new skills.
