I am currently studying Law at the University of Lincoln in order to peruse a career as a solicitor. Whilst at university, I have taken on a part time job as a customer assistant working for Marks and Spencers. I am committed to doing the best job I can at all times and helping my team to do the same to provide a high quality service to happy customers.
On the 26th of October 2021, I attended a virtual insight day course run by one of the world's largest law firms, Clifford Chance. This course gave me insight into the corporate law sector, which I hope to be a part of. In participating, we were given a certificate to state we participated in the 7-hour workshop.
When training with Marks and Spencers, I had the opportunity to work at the Royston and London Colney stores.
I later had the opportunity in April 2022 to help open the new store in Stevenage, and in September 2023, I had the privelege of moving to the Lincoln High Street store where I have worked for the last year.
The last two years have taught me a lot in terms of how to provide a high quality service to the public and how to work in a large scale business efficiently.
Whislt working at McDonalds, I belive the job helped instill a hard work ethic in me that drives me to improve my skills to do my job efficiently and to a high standard. I always tried to help the team as much as possible. If someone was struggling due to it being busy I would always try to help them out as much as I can as without them the restaurant could not function to the standard that is acceptable to us and the customers.
I spent 2 years working as a beater at a pheasant shoot in Cuffley at Brook Farm. The job involved working with people from all walks of life which I believe taught me the valuable skill of being able to interact with and work with anyone in order to get the job done.
