I am a motivated worker who is always keen to develop new skills and contribute positively within a professional environment. I have a strong ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently, with a proactive and adaptable approach to tasks allowing me to be able to stay up to date on tasks. Experience gained through volunteering at a charity and in my previous job has strengthened my communication skills, teamwork while demonstrating commitment and a strong work ethic. I’m keen to learn, grow, and add value to an organisation while building a long-term career.
I currently volunteer at Pawprints dog rescue and help out when I can with walking the dogs and cleaning the kennels. I also volunteer at a charity that my family set up in 2005 called Bwengu projects which helps to support many different projects such as improving adult literacy, whole class teaching kits and orphan care to name a few examples. In 2018 I went over to Malawi to help with the roll out of whole class teaching kits and to help support the set up of them and to teach some of the local teachers how to use them.
