In my first three years as a Transport Assistant my dedication and perseverance earned me the complete trust of my peers as well as my manager.
I feel that my experience of conducting new staff inductions makes me an ideal candidate for the advertised position.
In a very volatile environment where at any given time things can go wrong, like vehicle breakdowns, my greatest attribute is my calmness under pressure.
At the end of the day, when it’s most peaceful, is when I do the route planning for the next day, a process which takes about two hours.
It is a daily duty that’s also a good test of uninterrupted concentration.
Often times I’ve had to man the office on my own assisting and debriefing thirty drivers as well as liaising with customer service.
When all three office phones concurrently ring nonstop, I find that the remedy is to gently put the other two on silent.
Problems faced are not setbacks, they are just challenges.
Health and safety is paramount with all the company staff.
Rules and regulations must be strictly adhered to at all times.
I can assure you that my representation of the company would be of the highest standard.
I will always be present when required.
