When I am on duty, I am in charge of maximum of 4 staff members, I ensure that the shift runs smoothly and I assign everyone there roles for the day. Some of the other tasks I have to do in this role are:

- Cellar management

- Regular stock checks

- I am responsible for rotas

- Ordered stock

- Supervise shifts

- I resolved any issues or complaints to do with customers or staff

When I worked in the Dovey Inn I progressed from a team member to a shift leader within a space of a couple months. With doing so I gained more responsibility such as:

- Overseeing shifts

- Cash handling

- I worked closely alongside the manager and assistant manager responding to reviews whether good or bad

- I would oversee the check ins and check outs of the hotel side of things

- I would help where needed in any department e.g. house keeping to ensure a smooth work flow (due to staff sickness)

- I resolved any issues or conflicts with customers or staff members

- I was overseeing deliveries

- I would provide deep cleaning services to holiday accommodation and domestic houses

- Time management

- Worked in a thorough, efficient and professional manner

- Responsible for clients house keys and properties

- Report to the manager of any issues that may of occurred with any equipment or in any of the properties

- Cleaned and dried windows, mirrors and glass surfaces

- Scrubbed and sanitised toilets, sinks and kitchen fixtures for high quality finish

- Achieved spotless results within working timeframes to meet client needs
