- In my current role i am required to produce Carbon fibre parts for numerous luxury car brands which require me to trim, finish and assemble into completed parts which can be used by our customers.
- On a day to day i am giving multiple parts which i work on from the moment they come out of the moulds until they are ready to be sent to the customer, some of the skills which are used daily include trimming with a variety of air tools, finish the smaller details with hand tools such as files, drills and abrasives also bonding/ assembling which requires me to bring multiple parts together to make a final piece using the correct jigs and adhesives and making sure they are clean and presentable by the end of the process.
- We also follow strict health and safety procedures which i am responsible for following to ensure my own safety as well as everyone else in the team.
- As a team we ensure our deadlines are reached and help each other if an issue occurs but also working independently is important to insure your work doesn't affect other projects ongoing through other team members
