Summary

Confident, social, and independent are three words I would use to describe myself. I believe these characteristics stemmed from my early introduction to Braintree Rugby Club, where I started playing at the age of 5 and have continued to the present day, gaining numerous skills and achievements, such as winning the Essex County Finals and reaching the semi-finals of the Eastern Counties Cup. Through years of competitive experience, I have developed strong abilities in teamwork, discipline, and strategic thinking. While most of my passion for sport remains with rugby, I have also taken an interest in a more tactical approach to leadership. Last summer, I created, managed, and played within a 6-a-side football team, where we placed second in our first season. This experience allowed me to build skills in coordination, leadership, and accountability. Alongside my passion for sport, I also take great pride in my academic and personal development. During secondary school, I served as a prefect, planning events such as the school prom, and worked as a mentor for students needing additional guidance and support. I am now seeking to transfer these leadership, teamwork, and organisational skills into a professional setting, where I am committed to working hard, learning continuously, and making a positive contribution to any opportunity I am given.

Work history

Yard assistant/weighbridge operator

Crews Hills Metals
London, greater London
2025.10 - 2026.01

I worked at Crews Hill Metals and Scrap Metal Trading Company, where I assisted with daily operations in a busy scrap yard environment. My role involved communicating with a wide range of customers, using strong sales and customer service skills to ensure clear and professional interactions. I regularly operated the weighbridge, where I used mathematical skills to calculate total load weights, deduct bundle weights, and accurately determine the amount payable to customers. In addition to weighbridge duties, I helped around the yard with general labour tasks, including sorting materials and supporting operations using forklifts and other equipment where trained. Throughout my role, I followed health and safety procedures and contributed to maintaining an organised and efficient work environment.
