Some kind words received from a previous customer of our car sales business (Fraser Murray Car Sales) are worth sharing......
When Kingsley Dawson (a loyal repeat customer, and now friend) heard that we had closed the family business, he asked why? I explained that as someone who was concerned about climate change, my heart was no longer in car sales, and that, to me, it represented a conflict of interests. I also said that I felt that it was time to "give something back", and to do something good for other people. He said, "Fraser, don't you realise that as a car dealer you already did so much for other people. There is no other car dealer who cared so much, or looked after their customers as you did - so you certainly didn't need to give this up to do good work". I was touched by his kind words and they have stayed with me.
