Kincardine Bridge Site Visit
Balfour Beatty
- In-person site tour by Craig Hunter, site manger. The visit was extremely interesting, as it allowed me to see the construction practices I have been learning about in class first hand. I found the use of a temporary structure particularly interesting, as it avoids the closure of the road while construction is ongoing.
Cross Tay Link Road Project Site Visit
BAM Nuttal
- Fortunate enough to have the opportunity to go and visit the site in Perth and be given a tour around the project, which is one of the largest infrastructure projects ever undertaken by Perth and Kinross Council.

Volunteer work includes working in a local charity shop in Kilmarnock for 9 months as well as my family and I raising over £10,000 for Motor Neuron Disease (MND) Scotland and Ayrshire Hospice through a charity bike ride around Millport and a charity race night.
