STEM Ambassadors promote and embody the importance of STEM and how it can
make a real impact in the everyday lives of people across the globe. Volunteering
within schools, colleges and universities to discuss, tutor, mentor and promote
STEM to inspire the next generation. Promoting and aiding with STEM in deprived
institutions to help children and young adults reach their full potential.

Sustainability officer (22/23) Southampton University Students Union (SUSU)
Year-long volunteering alongside master’s programme. Working with the student
union and university management to develop and propose sustainability projects
throughout the year.
Student Innovation Project (2023) (SUSU)
One-month programme working on a highly competitive student innovation project.
Numerical calculations were undertaken to model the potential electricity production
on site. Presentation to senior management from the chool, including the executive
and head teachers.
Employability Ambassador (19/20) (SOGES)
One-year volunteering scheme. Organising promotional events for students with
businesses including Transport for London (TfL). Presentations, emails and meetings
were required, as was communication with members of staff and other students.
