2014 and SEND code of practice, communicating with parents and caregivers to report on progress,

challenges and educational options.

• Interviewed other 'at risk' pupils at Coombe Boys to assess for EHC applications and updated and

reviewed EHC plans/ applications.

• Visited potential PRUs with students liaising with Child Psychologists to help prepare them for transition.

As Secondary ESOL teacher for Children's Social Care, Bracknell Forest Council, liaised with foster parents of

unaccompanied asylum seekers in Croydon waiting for school places, teaching ESOL.

As National Tutoring Program intervention tutor for A ‘level students at City Academy, Southwark.

• Produced and managed public engagement film project for Birkbeck's Widening Access and Outreach 'Compass Project' to showcase the personal stories of one academic year’s cohort of students in the process of seeking asylum.
• Commissioned Polish video artist Anna Konik and raised funds through grants from the Open Society Foundation as main donor.
• Secured a screening of film to open the Human Rights Watch Festival 2022 at the Barbican, commissioning a shorter version of the film for wider target audiences and social media distribution to civil society partners.
• Identified and managed budget, timescale and scope changes, recommending actions and improvements to meet project goals.
• Managed evaluation reports, contracts, licensing, promotion and distribution.
• Designed impact strategy for the project including online community development and advocacy programs.

Set up umbrella organisation for freelance photography and creative content production work offering:

• Photography, video and text for digital communication channels integrated into long and short term strategic plans.
• Picture editing and commissioning.
• Website and content creation and engagement through attendant social media channels.
• Writing and editing of internal and external reports, evaluations, grant applications, newsletters, brochures and media articles to support fund-raising and awareness campaigns.

Clients have included The Guardian UK, The Rory Peck Trust, Muhimbili Wellcome Program, Tanzania (2010-2018) and World Economic Forum, (2021).

• Successfully photographed 76,146 children, approximately 75 percent of seven year olds in London as one of nine photographers for Turner Prize winning artist and Oscar winning film maker Steve McQueen's Tate Year Three Project.
• Designed and facilitated workshops on themes of inclusion, diversity and belonging in every Year 3 class in schools visited in partnership between Tate, Artangel and New Direction in 1,504 primary schools across 33 boroughs.
• Worked with Tate curators to showcase photographs in Tate Britain's Duveen Gallery and on billboards across London in collaboration with Artangel.

PR writer and Corporate Social Responsibility consultant for Vodacom. Wrote external editorials for regional press, advertorials, features, press releases, representing Vodacom at national conferences and advising management on public narratives. Other clients included De Beers (Williamson Diamonds).

As Editor of the Sunday Citizen newspaper established higher and consistent editorial standards and increased circulation on the then new and first English speaking newspaper in Tanzania.

Coordinated production and wrote articles for 'Art in East Africa' ed. Marion Arnold. Copy edited 'Silences in African History' by Jacques Depelchin and 'Tanzanian Law & Constitution' by Professor Issa Shivji.

Initiated and organised a showing of Migrations, the acclaimed travelling exhibition by documentary photographer Sebastião Salgado, at the Zanzibar International Film Festival, its first & only showing in Africa.

Commissioned, processed and distributed 24 hour general news feed on the international news agency's Europe, Middle East & Africa.
