Summary
Currently, I am studying at the UHI in Inverness towards a BSc in Oral Health Science to become a Dental Therapist, and due to qualify in June 2026. I have just completed my second year, taking a year out in 2023/24 for maternity leave. I qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2013 and continue to maintain my skills through occasional work at my previous practice.
As a dedicated dental professional, I have a strong foundation in clinical procedures including implants, orthodontics, cosmetic and routine procedures and administrative duties including working on the reception desk. I am friendly, enthusiastic and motivated, and work well both independently and as part of a team. I enjoy working with all members of the dental team to deliver high-quality patient care.
I am competent in using Software of Excellence, including treatment planning and payment processing, and have some experience with R4 from using this within the university clinics. I take pride in my reliability, with minimal sick days over 13 years of work.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, walking my two miniature dachshunds Daisy and Dexter and trying to keep up with my very active toddler, Grayson!
