Working for Clarks Kingston taught me valuable skills in teamwork and communication, via the importance of listening and cooperating with my colleagues, to provide a positive and dynamic working environment. I gained insight into product development and effective marketing to drive future sales and ensure customers' wants and needs were met. During the 'Back To School' period, the shop floor would become very busy. I learned to navigate this and remain calm, even when customers became impatient. As a sales associate, I built up a high level of product knowledge, so I was equipped if customers had questions or queries about the shoes, for example the materials used.

I am a competent knitter and can follow a pattern. It is very rewarding to produce handmade items.
