Lead teacher of Music and Drama.

I am a form tutor.

I have created the Key Stage 3 schemes of work for Music and Drama. I also provide schemes which as accessible to none specialist who deliver the curriculum.

I have created the schemes of work and deliver the Eduqas technical award in Performing Arts at Key Stage 4.

I also manage a team of peripatetic teachers.

I run the school choir, drama club, dance club and staff choir. Through these extra curricula opportunities I organise and direct Christmas and End of Year Showcases. I also take my students to perform in local Churches at Christmas and Easter.

I arrange trips to the theatre and have recently been successful in my application for a grant to fund a trip for culturally deprived students.

I am a deputy lead on the Embedding Formative Assessment programme which we are currently delivering to all teaching staff.

I arranged annual showcases for my students and through this raised money for a local Neo-Natal Unit and collected donations for a local food bank.

I also undertook work with a student who had dementia offering Music Therapy sessions which he found beneficial.
