Throughout the entirety of the year that i have thus far worked at the hotel i have managed to collect and attain numerous lifeskills aswell as valuable communicative skills.That have been immensely beneficial towards myself becoming much more personable and extroverted. Furthermore, giving me the wisdom and experience to speak with whichever person i encounter in life. At the Thurlestone Hotel, i currently operate the pass and overview all of the diligence which occurs within the kitchen.In addition to this, i will occasionally be transferred over as a wine specialist in the loungeroom, enabling me to be well-versed, qualified and finally familiar with the fundamental aspects of winery. Overall, i firmly believe that this working experience has been tremendously helpful towards both the way i present myself and my prowess upon the hotel industry

Working in a clothing boutique in a foreign nation has been an experience that i will treasure as what i witnessed and acknowledged about the fashion industry from a third world country perspective is beyond an evaluation. Firstly, i have been professionally instructed and mentored on how to establish displays and layouts for the clothing items and accessories within the boutique. Furthermore, allowing me to know what it is exactly which make something eye-catching and appealing. Secondly, i have been taught how to do accounting for a business, giving me an expertise for analyzing statistical profit mathematics. Therefore, i can successfully carry out an audit on the business. I can also perform a series of inventory tasks. Finally, and most importantly, working in a Spanish speaking country has given me a greater understanding on the cultural aspects of Latinoamerica. Especially, Guatemala.

This volunteering work consisted of developing and constructing sustainable households that will stand the test of time for impoverished communities and regions. This program lasted 3 days, however, what i gained from it was incredible. I learnt about infrastructure and how public services work when installed correctly. I learnt the basics of sustainable and price effective architecture aswell as the level of clinical teamwork that is required for constructing buildings. In addition, i learnt the reality of the inevitable poverty trap and its never-ending cycle humbled me.
