• As an apprentice for XPO Logistics, I have been working in a all of their departments as well as developing my knowledge regarding health and safety and the warehousing industry at their ASOS site in Grimethorpe and working with Barnsley College
• Because of this apprenticeship I have received the Level 2 Qualification in Warehousing and Storage, but most importantly, I have learned all there is to learn about the Inbound, Outbound and Stock Control departments
• Working with XPO Logistics I have also developed my teamwork skills as well as my skills regarding working towards a target

• At Amazon, it was the same Warehousing work, but they were all working using heavy machinery such as Forklifts and PUP trucks
• During my time at Amazon, I have learned to work smart and quick, always hitting my targets as well as always doing it in the correct manner, and now I can apply this to any job, in any industry
• I also had to fill in forms and labels as well as use Microsoft Office
• My customer service skill began to rise indirectly as I was making sure all our customers got their correct order in a impeccable condition, at the right time, making them happy

• At Euramax I have been fabricating uPVC window frames
• To do this I have been taught and mastered assembling, welding, sawing, frame corner cleaning, all while using heavy machinery
• Quickly and efficiently assembling a variety of products while also ensuring that the quality never fell below the highest standard of excellence
• Ensuring that all products were stored and handled with the utmost care
• Regularly conducting maintenance for various machines, including diagnosing common operational problems and repairing them
• Working hand-in-hand with safety managers to assure a safe work environment for everyone involved
• Reporting any safety problems to upper officials to ensure that they understand the issues that are plaguing a facility
• Conducting regular inspections of machinery and fixing issues in a timely manner to ensure that they run smoothly, avoiding unnecessary delays
• Regularly utilized production equipment such as, tape measures and blueprints to complete various tasks
• Carefully arrange materials according to blueprints, securing with clamps or bolts before welding
• Ensure quality of finished products, leading tolerance tests, filling holes and repairing improperly welded pieces with stick welder

• This job provided to me a full week of consistent training at the beginning making sure I knew everything from government rules such as the Data Protection Act to JD -Specific rules such as everything to do with their distribution and returns processes
• My role was to answer phone calls, emails and webforms and to empathise with the customers while controlling the situation
• Making the customers happy whilst also following all the rules imposed by the company

At Apollo I am a Lead Driver which means I am the model for the rest of the team to follow, while on road it is the exact same job as it was at PanAm Logistic Solutions but I am also a Part Time Manager during the weekend and occasionally during the week to cover for the full time managers (flexible work schedule).

• Managing a team of 50+ drivers several times a week.
• Ensuring the whole operation runs smoothly every shift.
• Ensuring the fleet is in a safe condition for the daily operation every morning before the shift, changing tyres and parts that are no longer safe.
• Ensuring everyone is showing up on time and collecting their routes.
• Making sure everyone completes work within the time allocated for the routes and offering support for those that are behind the schedule.
• Scheduling the work for the next shift everyday and making changes for the schedule on last minute emergency no-shows so that we can provide the perfect service for Amazon and their customers.

• I have been working with PCs since I was very young, some of my skills in this are installing/uninstalling software such as Windows and Microsoft Software, working with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign, troubleshooting software related problems
