Having worked in the higher education sector for 18 years in Hong Kong, I am experienced in strategic planning, team-building and dealing with different stakeholders both within and outside organization. I am a highly motivated person, and having innovative but caring mindset. I am ambitious to develop my second career after moving to the UK in 2023 which is full of opportunities to face challenges and learn with people with diversified background.
1. To teach social sciences- and communication-related courses at undergraduate level and supervise students' final year project;
2. To lead a team colleagues and communicate with them frequently to accomplish tasks in relation to programme review and restructure, and report the progress to the head of department as well as senior management;
3. To communicate with external parties (such as external examiners, academic advisors, external programme reviewers) and report regularly to them the matters concerning quality of programme implementation;
4. To liaise with colleagues outside the department to discuss the matters arising from programme implementation and research needs, such as introduction to cross-departmental new courses, collaborative research projects, etc.;
5. To assist the head of department to set up and maintain the daily operation of a research centre.
1. To formulate the strategic plan for the long-term development of the research centre;
2. To build and keep expanding a network of clients from government departments, non-governmental organizations, private corporations and listed companies;
3. To communicate closely with clients to understand their needs and design a research plans satisfy their needs and achieve their designated goals accordingly;
4. To build a research team and communicate well with members to accomplish commissioned research projects in accordance with the stipulated research plan.
