My role as Income Advisor involves managing my own case load of accounts to include a wide selection of our clients, former current and also leaseholders. I have responsibility to chase debt owed to Cross Keys Homes, negotiating payment plans, helping and supporting those with hardship, signposting to support where needed. I work closely with various teams around the business to share insights and discuss complex cases to support our residents and take higher action where needed. Our team deal with all arrears from low level right up to court and eviction if necessary.
I have been working in Income Management for 16 years, before this I spent 11 years working as a Housing Advisor, I possess in depth knowledge of housing management, tenant relations and compliance with housing regulation's.
I worked for Peterborough City Council on a temporary contract working for many different teams from Housing Benefits, to the Museum and also the Electoral Registration department. I learnt alot from data input, to speaking to clients, updating reports, handling phone inquiries, filing, and front desk duties.
