Crisis Care is an Emergency Response Team which involves receiving an Email from Careline, working in a small team communication is a large part of the job, we study the callout information and we discuss on where and what the Service User needs base on information.

We cover the full of West Lothian.

On arrival we assess the situation and what tasks can be done to assist the Service User.

If it came through as a fall we carryout a top to toe check incase an injury has occurred, we then use equipment an example we would use an Elk or Hoist to support to a sitting position, if fine we support to a comfortable area , if medical attention is required we contact NH24, Doctors, Pharmacy, depending on the situation.

Personal care and medication can also be part of the tasks, I am Trained on all Manual Handling, Medication, Emergency Response and on going Mandatory courses.
