I'm currently an Account Executive at insurance, reinsurance and insurtech public relations and communications firm Rein4ce.

I work on several insurance, reinsurance and insurtech accounts. Responsibilities include the day-to-day managing of PR and social media accounts, alongside support with strategic planning and liaising with C-Suite and marketing departments.

I have written press releases, articles and social media posts that showcase the thought leadership of Rein4ce's clients, and manage media relations for them.

catbyte is a mobile app development company based in Hamburg, Germany. Their current User Acquisition project Gamelight connects mobile game developers with users.

My main tasks included:

• Led project to build company website from scratch, which involved writing all the copy for the website, researching and writing blog posts, and coordinating with developers on the design.
• Responsible for creating content for the company LinkedIn page, including copy and graphics.
• Corresponded with relevant media outlets to organise press releases, sponsored posts and other promotional opportunities for the company.

Holyrood PR is an award-winning PR agency, where I gained experience in the world of public relations.

My tasks included:

• Drafting press releases for a wide variety of clients.
• Working with Canva to create eye-catching graphics.
• Brainstorming creative ideas for social media copy and marketing campaigns for a range of different clients ranging from food and drink manufacturers to property developers.

The experience resulted in proficiency with SEO and Wordpress, as well as a greater knowledge of social media strategies and how the greater media landscape operates.

I held the role of Teaching Assistant and Playworker, primarily looking after children from 7 to 12 years old.

This included: arts and crafts activities, interacted and supervised the children in different environments.

As a teaching assistant duties included classroom assistance and additional support for teachers. This involved helping individual children who are struggling, leading reading groups and general classroom admin.

Localeur is an American travel website. On a freelance basis my role was to create a variety of recommendations for tourists visiting Edinburgh, emulating the ethos of Localeur: to provide tourists with the local experience of a city.

The articles included spotlighting the hidden gems of Stockbridge, different art galleries and my favourite local parks.
