I am an experienced PR professional with previous experience in journalism. I have gained professional experience in public relations during my time at HRein4ce, particularly honing my impeccable writing skills and building experience with PR strategies, social media engagement and campaign management. I regularly write press releases and thought leadership pitches for a range of clients, as well as social media copy.
My experience in the newsroom at The National resulted in multiple articles I had written published both on their website and in the daily newspaper; all of these articles can be found on my portfolio website listed here or can be sent to you upon request. I have had the opportunity to shadow Stuart Bathgate when reporting on Edinburgh Rugby matches and attending press conferences. This has resulted in an article I wrote being published in The Herald, I can provide this piece upon request. I currently volunteer as the Head of Sport for the online news publication Empoword Journalism, an online publication aiming to empower more women and non-binary students to get into journalism. I lead a team of editors, develop sports pitches for the section, and edit the submitted articles.
