Summary

As a Senior Staff Nurse in a busy Medical Assessment Unit , I feel well placed to pursue a career within Primary care as a Practice Nurse. I am often the nurse in charge within the department therefore confident with patients, medical emergencies and managing workload. Through working closely with patients and doctors, I have consolidated good knowledge in many health presentations.

I have demonstrated enthusiasm for learning by undertaking Modules in Diabetes and Patient Assessment in my own time, and keen to expand on this.

With almost 10 years experience in Critical Care where I cared for the most unwell patients, and now In MAU which also includes the GP Out of Hours Service patients, I am often the first point of contact for Triage and assessment.

I consider myself to be reliable, hardworking, and adapt to changes positively , with the ability to work well independently and within a team.
