Demonstrated ability to apply scientific principles to enhance athletic performance and promote health. Seeking opportunities to gain practical experience and further develop skills in the field.
I also have experience volunteering in schools in Zimbabwe and Kenya, where interacting with the children, teaching them games and helping them with English and maths was key. In Zimbabwe, I also spent some time on a ranch in rural Zimbabwe, volunteering on the ranch. I have also climbed Mount Kenya in a group of 10 people. All of this taught myself a lot about teamwork, resilience, and the ability to be creative. This was all through a programme, Africa Gap., I also have experience running. I took up running in the 2020 summer lockdown by doing couch to 5k. Now, I have completed 3 half marathons and am training to run my first ever marathon.
