- I joined Mission Motorworks about a month after I had left school. I initially was there to work that summer to gain some experience in the motor trade. As they were impressed with how quick I learn things to a high standard they took me on part time for 3 days week while i went to college for the other 2 days.
- During the summer holidays and school holidays i would work full working weeks. I have been full time there for the past 2 months.
- My skills include:
- light and heavy filler work
- Getting a panel ready for primer and paint
- Can strip and fit damaged and repaired panels
- Applied heat gun to plastic components, moulding back into proper shapes.
- Primed vehicle surfaces for new paint job by sanding down.
- Hammered out and smoothed dents in bodywork with care and precision.
- Filled small holes and rusted areas with filler to improve appearance.
- Repaired various vehicle types with precision and care.
- Maintained exceptionally clean, tidy and safe work environment at all times.
- Light mig welding and metal fabrication skills for patch work on a rusty vehicle.
- Polished blend panels and whole cars to a high standard.
