Work experience (assist Mechainic)

Mintlaw, Aberdeenshire

I secured a work placement from Peterhead Academy for 1 week working at Aberdeenshire councils Repair depot in Mintlaw, I assisted the garage mechanic servicing several council fleet vehicles and carrying repairs where required.

Work experience (assist plumb/ heating engineer)

Buchanness plumbing
Peterhead, Aberdeenshire

I secured a work placement for 2 weeks assisting Buchanness plumbers during the holidays where I spent 2 weeks carrying out general plumbing and heating services along side a experienced plumber.

Affiliations

  • Football: I have played football since the age of 5 years as a Goalkeeper, primary school and secondary school football. I also played boys club football for Dyce and Newburgh Thistle Youth. I attended trials for Buchanhaven Hearts youth development U18 squad a while back and attended a few training sessions and played during a friendly match between the legends and first team. Football is a great team sport which shows how everyone's individual contribution can come together to achieve a great outcome
  • Boxing: I have been boxing now for almost 4 years and for the last 2 years I have been competing at a high level for my local Club "Waites Boxing Gym" within the Amateur boxing alliance. I am club captain for the boxing gym and have also been assisting with coaching the youth classes lately to pass on my knowledge and experience. I have been travelling all over the country with the boxing club competing in several competitions and lately represented Scotland down at Dover for an international competition. I have a Proven ability to maintain peak physical fitness, execute strategic techniques, and exhibit mental resilience under pressure. I am passionate about continuous improvement and committed to achieving personal and professional goals in the sport of boxing.
  • I like to help my dad in his garage at home where he repairs classic scooters, carrying out full engine strip downs and rebuilds. I have learned how to use basic hand tools in the garage and also I briefly used a MIG welder to fabricate a bracket to hand up a boxing bag.
