Packing Operative

During my time at JRL i worked as a packing operative, my duties consisted of:
- Packing and transporting goods such as boxes of screws, nuts etc and packing large and fragile goods such as windows in such a manner that kept them from breaking or being damaged whatsoever.
- Completed paperwork that ensured all the items packaged which were going to be sent out, went to the right place and that there was no delays with delivery’s.
- Tracked inventory levels to ensure that there was never shortage of any items which may have been needed during production. Made sure that items with low inventory were reported to the manager in order to get them ordered in.
- Worked in a team setting in order to complete tasks effectively and with efficiency.
- Safely moved and correctly labelled boxes and heavy objects weighing up to 500 kg.
- Maintained clean, tidy working environments, upholding warehouse hygiene and safety standards.
- Kept up fast pace to complete designated tasks ahead of deadlines.
