I am a Hardworking, dependable person, with over 25 years of experience working within the production industry in a variety of roles. Throughout my working history I have demonstrated excellent problem solving skills, a drive to ensure projects are completed correctly and to a high standard. I can confidently use various industry hand tools such a drills ,grinders, spanners and torque wrenches along with a standard tool kit. I have more recently enjoyed working within the Aggregate plant at Cauldon for the Future team gaining lots practical experience on site.
At Future, I carry out various industrial cleaning tasks including tank cleaning and keeping the working area safe to move around. I also report 'near misses' which are potential safety issues to my manager. I have completed First aid training, IHASCO, IOSH and CCNSG training and have recently completed tests in the vehicles used on site too Including Mini diggers, Skid steers and Dumper trucks.
As part of the Maintenance team I do a wide variety of work at farms and farmhouses depending on what needs fixing. It ranges from electrical jobs to plumbing and everything in between. I drive in and around Derbyshire and Staffordshire to reach the different farms in a van. I work alone and as part of a team depending on how big the job is in hand.
As a Castings Processor at Roston Casting I clean up the casted parts that are made in house using a variety of tools so they are ready for use by the customer.
As a production Engineer at MasterMover, I am responsible for building a variety of Electric Tug machines from scratch, by setting up the hydraulics, wiring and programming to create a completed machine. To achieve this, i used design drawings (which I have now memorised) and a multitude of tools including grinders, soldering irons and a substantial tool kit. I have confidently suggested ways to evolve and streamline the building process of the Electric Tug to benefit both MasterMover and the eventual customer. I am also given the responsibility to train new staff entering the company, this requires me to pass on my knowledge and work with them until they can confidently demonstrate and understand the process used within MasterMover.

As a compound Operative working at Nenplas, I was responsible for a plastic making process, which involved selecting and weighing raw materials to mix and then extrude into various colours of moulded plastic. During this process, it was important that the machines were monitored closely with temperatures and speeds recorded regularly. At the end of the process the mixers (machinery) had to be cleaned thoroughly in between batches to avoid cross contamination. Throughout this manufacturing process, I was responsible for machine maintenance and ensuring they were running correctly.
Holding a Fork Truck Licence and a Reach Truck License, allowed me to be used to lift finished products onto racking shelves and also move goods around the factory floor when required.

I am a devoted family man and I enjoy spending my free time with my family and five dogs exploring our local area on foot, going on family holidays and days out to the multitude of theme parks throughout the UK.
I like to play computer games and to game with my son.
My wife and I also enjoy the challenge of an 'Escape Room' and the lateral thinking that it requires for you to escape in the allotted time. We regularly attend these with friends.
I am a supporter of Ashbourne Aztecs football club and love watching and cheering on my son and daughter play matches and tournaments.
