Throughout my employment at McDonald's, i have developed exceptional customer skills by addressing customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and friendly manner therefore allowing me to build deeper and trustworthy connections with customers. I have also maintained high standards of food safety and hygiene while ensuring a clean working environment using the correct procedures and equipment. Always ensuring orders are checked for accuracy, allowing customers to receive high-quality food and presentation encouraging customer loyalty. Also collaborating with team members to guarantee they feel supported in tasks resulting in timely and accurate orders. Overall my experience at McDonald's has enabled me to handle high-pressure situations in a calm manner allowing me to provide solutions promptly.

During this work experience I got to experience working with preschool children. My day to day tasks included playing with the children in an educational manner, taking them to sensory classes and helping out during meal times. Working with young children helped me to develop patience, understanding and communication skills as sometimes they would not verbally communicate their needs and problems. Not having direct communication allowed me to use initiative in order to adapt to different situations therefore helping me gain problem solving skills.

Due to COVID, this was a virtual work experience for two days in which we worked in teams with people around the country to develop and design construction plans. However, the main reason behind the exercise was to develop personal time management, leadership/ teamwork skills, self confidence and the ability to take on tasks that I had never encountered before.
