Though a primarily independent position, writing for The Scene requires me to communicate clearly and concisely with editorial and managerial staff, as well as external parties such as agents, labels, and on occasion artists themselves, in order to effectively research the necessary information for each review. I am required to take both a critical eye, and a personal approach, to my responses. Through this (unpaid, volunteer) position, I have:

Accomplishments

On top of the previously mentioned prize in English Language, I have had the honour of being included in at least seven anthologies published by the UK YoungWriters group. Moreover, as a GCSE student I was selected to design the 'Value Mascots' for St George's Academy in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, leading to my artwork being featured across the academic environment on stickers, promotional posters, postcards, and even enamel pins awarded to students for academic achievement.
