I volunteered at a Scout group where I helped set up activities and games depending on the members of the group ensuring everyone was included and enjoyed the session, I attended leader planning meetings and coordinated with other Young Leaders to ensure we stayed on schedule and activities were completed on time.
For my Y10 work experience, I shadowed a teaching assistant who supported the class teacher - duties would include helping to get resources ready; hearing children read; playing games with a small group of children both inside and outside; supporting during break time and at lunchtime. Completing other duties requested by the teacher or teaching assistant to support the children.
