Summary

I am a dedicated and compassionate Early Years Practitioner with ten years of experience in child care. I am seeking a long-term career nanny role with the opportunity to travel. I am comfortable working alongside parents and having share care of the children.

I value kindness and compassion with a nurturing approach towards caring for babies and children. I consistently engage with children with kindness, respect and a natural warmth.

I provide a positive approach towards babies and children. I believe that treating children with a positive approach promotes and encourages their self-esteem. I foster an environment that is safe, positive, kind and nurturing for babies and children to thrive in.

I have excellent communication skills with parents.

I cared for children that had severe nut allergies and a child that lives with Microcephaly. Providing constant feedback and open communication was essential. Demonstrating excellent communication skills and working in partnership with parents.

I currently nanny ad hoc for two local families since 2018. I have recently started to nanny on an Ad hoc basis for a family since January. I have continued to provide committed and loyal care for two families for ten years and continue to do so. Demonstrating my loyalty and commitment.

My professional background involves working as a Level 3 Early Years practitioner in a childminding setting that was rated ‘Outstanding’ twice by Ofsted. I cared for ten children and babies. I am highly experienced in caring for babies under one year old.

I am experienced in planning activities to meet the individual needs of children, focusing on supporting their early education and development according to EYFS Areas of Learning. I observe and record assessments accurately, identifying each child's needs, interests, and developmental progress.

My professional background also includes working for the NHS in mental health services. The skills that I learnt from working for the NHS are transferable to that of working with children and families. These are maintaining confidentiality and being discreet. Safeguarding children and ensuring that the welfare of children is paramount. This includes excellent communication skills and social inclusion and diversity.
