Roles and Responsibilities:
Proxy Ship Dock Team leader
•Collaborating closely with Team leads and managers to oversee team of up to 30 associates, identifying operational issues and developing targeted goals and plans to address them.
• Ensure safe and clean work environment.
• Provide support and guidance for Amazon associates when needed.
• Ensure equitable staffing of associates at beginning and throughout shifts, prioritizing equal opportunities and fairness for all team
members based on future volume.
• Constantly monitoring key metrics and provide detailed End of Shift report.
Shipping clerk
•Responsible for daily management of department duties including planning loads around standard departure times, load flow control , Global Trailer Dock Release (GTDR), communicating constantly with leads, loaders, Loading process guide and ensuring proper trailer utilization.
• Coordinate trailers to corresponding dock doors and cross docks using SSP.
• Coordinating with ROC team to cancel run or asking for additional run depending on volume processed.
• Communicating with TOM team, owning on time departure metric.
• Greeting drivers and providing instructions and directions.
•Monitoring daily volume for every Critical Pull Time departure to minimize number of used trailers, ensuring transportation capacity and saving transportation costs.
Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA)
• Demonstrate good customer service at all time.
• Operate till, fitting rooms , handling customer queries
• Dealing with recovery and deliveries. maintain the stock room, tidying, unpacking, organizing and storing merchandise
• Counting the stock with the scanner and complete the necessary paperwork
