I was Manager i duties Responsibilities have organizational and management responsibilities, reporting to the Superstore Division Manager Since the business operates on a 7-day week basis, Assistant Managers must be able to deputise for Store Managers and efficiently run a Chinese Cash & Carry branch dealing with all aspects of site management, including sales, stock control, health & safety, personnel and general administration.
To act as first point of contact for all queries from staff, customers and suppliers • To manage Cash & Carry staff • To review job applications and arrange interviews as required • To update the staff on company policies, procedures and rules changes in meetings • To oversee and assist with stock control and ordering including organising and undertaking the quarterly stock-checks and ensuring goods are always in stock • To log customer complaints and process as necessary • To attend meetings, conferences and training days relevant to projects • To handle investigations and meetings for grievance and disciplinary procedure • To undertake any other project work that may be reasonably assigned from time to time • To organise and provide training for Cash & Carry staf
